Should be fine. This does give me some fond memories though. I was waiting for WotLK to come out. Was a fun time to see what games would run on windows 7 as I was running the developers preview of it.
ReplyDeleteSo now waiting for SWTOR and testing the new OS. Just like old times :)
Ok, USB stick formatted. Here we go. Hope to see you on the other side!
ReplyDeleteOk, its installed. Now to tweek it and play with it. Already moved the new ui thingy to the second monitor and cant find where to move it back yet. lol Which is fine, not a fan of that part.
ReplyDeleteEvery other Windows version is terrible: Millennium, Vista, now 8.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't seem bad for anything that doesn't have a mouse.
ReplyDeleteWell beside the UI stuff I am really testing for stability and and how well it uses the hardware. And so far on the desktop the UI is not an issue.
ReplyDeleteStill tweeking and seeing about getting LoTRO to run right now to test out. Was able to put the latest nvidia beta drivers on.
I might throw it into a VM and do some testing there.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many versions of Windows, which ones should you count?
ReplyDeleteDo you could 98 SE, Windows XP x64, or either of the two Media Center editions?
And I'm not in the camp that 7 is amazing. There are aspects I like, but all the Vista usability regressions remain. And stupid things such as how they removed the "Repair Install" option for no good reason.
